Which hair straightener should i get?

i'm finally going to invest in a good straightener. i have extremely thick, pretty curly hair and my current $40 one isn't doing the trick. my friend does my hair and she recommends the CHI, but i have found that the Solia also get goo reviews. which should i get? anyone have a different one?

PS) the GHD ones are just too expensive for me.Which hair straightener should i get?
If the GHD are too expensive my second suggestion would be either the Sedu or the Karmin Envy straightener. The karmin Evy isn't as well known but I have it and it's amazing and I have full on spiral curls. It straightens it perfectly. The sedu I haven't tried but it got awesome reviews, it was the one I almost went with. ( The GHD is too expensive for me too but my stylish uses it and it's the best) I've tired the chi, it isn't that good. It burnt my hair and sure it straightened it but that was after i went over each section like 4- 5 times. I wouldn't recommend it. They also break very easily.Which hair straightener should i get?
I would suggest the bed head straightener they're about $80 but they work really well %26amp; they last, me %26amp; my sister have had ours for about 2 years %26amp; it still works really well. Also i suggest this because my sister has really wavy hair that doesn't like to straighten %26amp; i have straight hair but towards the ends its wavy %26amp; its near impossible to straighten %26amp; the bed head straightener is the only straightener that i've used that actually gets it straight.

Hope I Helped:)
When I first read the question i thought GHD's but I completely understand that they're too expensive. Remington Gold are great, you can buy ones with thin plates or thicker plates. Because your hair is thick and curly, you should get the larger plates, whatever the make. Remington Gold's cost around 拢40 so I guess thats about $70-$80. Good Luck babe. x
The CHI does not break after one year. I have it but I like my RUSK a lot better. It only costs like $60 too. That is like $40 cheaper then the CHI. I would not recomend Andis because my friend had one and after about 5 months, she had to use her curling iron to straighten her hair because her Andis wouldn't work. It just simply wouldn't straighten anyones hair. Hope this helped!
I just got a Sedu, I LOVE it. I had a solia but it broke, and started to not work as good as when i first got it. THe sedu seems good so far I can sleep right after I straighten my hair and it's still perfect in the morning. And it make it look less burnt. so, go with Sedu, i like it muuuuch better than my solia.
Just get the CHI you already know it works for everybodys hair, it's risk free so if you do spend the money you will know for sure that it's great.

I wouldn't trust a few reviews. The CHI is widely known for being a perfectionist. I had mine for 7 years before it broke. It's still working just has a loose wire, and I wasn't gentle with it. Great investment and product.
CHI is best for you. Its cheaper and working so well.

I love CHI. So, i always recommended CHI.

Its cheaper also. The starting price is from $79.99

get the infiniti by conair. it's awesome. i have extremely curly and wild hair and it gets my hair pin straight. also, it uses ionic steam so it doesn't damage your hair like the chi and all those other straightners. hope i helped!
I have a Remington Wet 2 Straight, and it's the most amazing straightener I've ever used! It's really cheap, too! About $30 at Walmart. My friend has extreme curly hair, and I straighten it for her all the time. It always comes out straight and silky.
don't get the CHI they brake sooo easily. they brake in about a year. i have really curly hair and i use an andis straightener.
GHI rocks, but other than that, my mum uses a conair and it works hecka good.
CHI all the way!

i have never found a problem with mine.
