Which hair straightener brand is best??

I have recently decided to start straightening my hair, but i don't want my hair to become extremely damaged. I was thinking of buying a GHD straightener because I heard they straightened hair very well with very little damage. Are GHDs the best hair straighteners, or if not then which brand is best?Which hair straightener brand is best??
The ';Chi'; is really good! I have one and it works really good! If your are worried about your hair being damaged I would put straighting balm in your hair before you straighten your hair! =] Good luck I hope I helped! I also have a ';Maxi glide'; Straightener that steams your hair that works great to! You can get it at Bed bath and beyond for 50 or 75 dollars! Which hair straightener brand is best??
REMINGTON is the best. Ceramic and teflon-coated plates keep the hair shiny and straighter than ever, unlike those unknown brands' hair tools that end up giving a lot of frizz to your hair. if you're planning on buying one, go for REMINGTON CERAMIC AND TEFLON HAIR STRAIGHTENER. if you're thinking of straightening your hair regularly, then deep condition your hair after shampooing.
I have really wavy/curly hair and I used to have a Conair straightener. I bought it for $20 at Wal Mart but it didn't work at all, and it gave me split ends!

--%26gt;Then this year I bought a CHI at Marshalls. They had one in the back and I got a sweet deal on it [$80] Usually they are around $100-$150! If you can't find one at marshalls you can go to a local salon and buy one from them, or order one at Folica [http://www.folica.com/]

I like it because it leaves my hair silky smooth, and a lot of salons use them, so it's professional quality. It's also worth the money because not only can you make your hair stick straight, but you can do flips and even curl. YouTube [http://www.youtube.com] has some tutorials of styles you can do with a CHI.

Just make sure that you use a heat protecter with any straightener that you buy otherwise you will get a lot of damage. I reccomend using either the CHI brand ';Straight Guard'; [Walgreens] or Tresemme ';No Friz Ultra Light Shine Spray'; [any drugstore]
I have used GHDs for five years and they are truly amazing. They slide through your hair so easily and make the hair so sleek and smooth. you can also curl hair with them. All good salons use them. I would never recommend straightening your hair every day though: the heat is just too much. I strighten mine with the hair dryer over a round brush for work and with the straighteners for social occations.
The GHD IV, Sedu or Chi

I have a Babyliss and its fine. Cost around 100.00. I don't love it, but don't dislike it either.

The Sedu is very lightweight and heats up quickly. The CHI is a little heavier, and supposedly easy to short out.

SEDU:

1) Lightweight

2) Straightens better

3) Does not catch hair or break hair

4) Have temperature control (good)

5) Heats up fast

6) Hair softer and shiny for my thick hair.

CHI:

1) Heavier

2) Cheaper

3) Straightens well

4) No temperature control (fixed temp)

5) Breaks easily

well it depends on you hair type and every straightener is going to damage your hair no matter what i have a remington wet to straight

but what i suggest if you dont want your hair damaged is to use a prtreatment like a spray or jell that protects ur hair while u straighten it

okie doke hope i helped =]
as a hairdresser i say if you want quality results use ghd they are the best by far they give you salon quality looks that last

but i must add hair straightners arnt good for your hair so make sure you use heat defence also to protect your hair

good luck hope i helped
Babyliss pro 230 elegance...they are hotter than GHD's, they tame the frizz better, and they are half the price =] you can have it on 3 different heats and i have used them for a year and swear by them...hope this helped.
i use ghd and there amazing well they work for me you can find them for about 拢70 in some saloons so there good value also they will last you for ages so i would if i was you investe and buy some ghd
If you have very thin hair, you can buy cheap straighteners (like conair) but if your hair is thick and wavy, GHD is a good choice. I like the sedu too.
GHDs are really good but expensive. If you're worried about your hair getting damaged by straighteners, it's more about the temperature that they are and you can protect your hair by using a serum.
I heard Chi is the best but I have a conair with the felt on the outside and I love it! If you use a flatiron spray like the Chi brand you'll be fine.
ANYTHING from salons or salon supplies ! Trust me....don't settle for less ! Anything from Walmart, Zellers ect. is not worth it !

Go to a salon and ask about which one best suits your type of hair ! They will really help you out ! :)
NOOO, the best is MAXIGLIDE!!!

its a little expensive, but absolutely worth it
