get a Vidal Sassoon. he's this big deal hair dresser, and his straightener si only like 30 bucks. It works great!

Not only that, but the Solia is way cheaper, and the cord doesn't short out as much. I had a really cheap Andis Straightner so I bought a simple CHI...it shorted out in 3 months. I thought since it worked well I would buy another one, so I did....and once again in 5 months the cord shorted out again! I decided to check out my other options and bought the Solia. It has lasted me 1 1/2 years and straightens better than my CHI. Good Luck to you!
dont spend alot of money on CHI I got one from Conair for 40 dollars. It is wet to dry and red. Itheats up super fast and staghtens good
