鈼?My Ultimate Hair Straightener Suggestion 鈼?

I have a Solia 1/4'; flat iron. It's ceramic so it prevents even more damage (you still have to apply heat protectants to your hair before straightening with any flat iron). Some people say the Solia is as good as a Sedu and a Sedu is as good as a CHI (I have never tried a Sedu or a CHI so I can't personally say it's true). I recommend you try it! If you buy the Solia from Folica.com it's only $88 compared to $120, comes with a cooling mat, and free shipping. Check out this link and read the reviews. I love the results:

The plate size is good for either short or long hair and the barrel is still thin enough for nice curls.

鈼?Tips 鈼?br>
To keep the life of any flat iron longer don't ever wrap the cord around the iron and after everytime you use it, clean the plates - either with flat iron wipes or a damp piece of papertowel.

鈼?Other Option 鈼?br>
If you are looking for anything much cheaper I've read the Remington wet to straight iron works well too.

Conair is not that great especially when you have thick hair because it snags but I'm not preventing you from trying their straighteners.

鈼?Hair Products 鈼?br>
Frizz-Ease Hair Serum (thermal protection) smells great and works well to protect your hair. It's also not that expensice.

Stick with repairing/hydrating shampoos and conditioners. Using a leave-in conditioner after you wash your hair is really good too.

Use a hair mask once a week. It will help keep your hair healthy.

Easy hair mask: honey and olive oil. Apply to your hair and cover with a show cap. Rinse off after 30 minutes.

Last but not least, avoid straightening everyday.Which hair straightener?
honestly, i think all hair straighteners are pretty much the same. just get one with high heat settings [unfortunately, your hair won't straighten well if the heat is too low]. and try to get a ceramic-plated hair straightener. i think that most hair straighteners are ceramic these days. i have a really cheap straightener from Conair that was around $15, and i also have a really expensive one that was given to me from a friend, which runs around $200. the only difference between them is that more expensive one works faster. but i usually end up with the same results. i just have to spend more time when using the cheaper one. but besides that, theyre honestly like the exact same. so as long as you get a ceramic hair straightener [which is good for eliminating frizz] then i think you'll be fine. dont let anybody tell you that the more expensive products work a lot better, cus they really dont. and as for products, try a heat-protective spray. there are many brands to choose from. i personally like Nexxus or TRESemme. they have good products that you just spray on right before you straighten your hair. this will minimize the damage %26amp; make your hair a little less frizzy and burnt smelling. good luck! :D
whatever you do, get a

CERAMIC STRAIGHTENER

it doesnt damage your hair AS MUCH.

and get products like Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight.

its a spray. it works nicely

also get like.. conditioning serum like Citreshine if u want or Biosilk. those are just optional.

u can get a nice ceramic straightner for cheap at like walmart or sumthing but the best ones are Corioliss and Chi and some other ones.

go to google and just look up ';best straightners'; and u'll fiind some good ones but those are expensive

i bought my corioliss for around 100 dollars. (canadian)

but the walmart ones arent that expensive.

my corioliss was totaly worth it. long lasting and works perfectly!! i couldnt live with out it

its good to invest in a really good straightner. its 100% WORTH IT! :)

happy straightner shopping :)
You can get a cheap straightener at the drug store or discount store that will work pretty well for you. The more you spend though, the better it will be.

You will want to use some sort of heat protecting spray before you use the straightener and either gel or foam for hold.
I'M 13 TOOO!!!

CHI

or you can use.. ION COLOR BRILLANCE! they both worked geat!

make sure you don't get a cheap one. like under 100$ becuase they are bad for your hair and will frye them! also to keep it staright you might like to try the HERBAL ESSANCES STRAIGHT spray. it will make your hair super straight and will hold it staright too. it also smells good also. you can find it at your local WALMART or drug store! hope i helped :D
I have a Vidal Sassoon, they're cheap, mine was $17 at Target.

I use Garnier Fructis sleek and shine melting conditioner, along with the leave in conditioner.

if you use the melting conditioner, don't use it on your roots, i realized it makes it greasy haha.
