Which hair straightener should I splurge on?

I have curly, reletively frizzy, medium length hair.

I currently use a Hot Tools hair straightener but I want to upgrade to a more expensive, better model.

I'm looking a a Sedu hair straightener. There is a 1 inch model, and a 1 1/2 inch model. I'm also looking at a Chi. Which of those should I splurge on? I'd prefer the Sedu, but if you think the Chi is better, say so. =]Which hair straightener should I splurge on?
Go with the Sedu! I heard CHI's always break down after a few months. I just got a Sedu and it's awesome! You can do curls and waves with it too.

Here's my ';after'; pic:

well don't splurge on the chi that's fer sure

get the sedu if you have longer hair PAST YOUR SHOULDERS GET THE 1 1/2 one if not get the i inch
the chi works pretty well, but its breaks easily, and its not entirely ceramic, so it really dries out your hair. ive heard sedu works a lot faster, is more durable, and is even more ceramic so it wont be as harsh on your hair.
CHI, because you can curl, flip, and straighten with it. It also has a lifetime warranty, as long as you keep the box, warranty card, and original receipt. Get the 1 in regular CHI, all you need.
Differently a Chi, my sister a hairstyle and doesn't recommended anything but a Chi, they even come in different color these day!
Definately Sedu. The reviews are much better (I have one and it works great). Someone seriously just posted a question asking why their CHI that they just opened isn't working. CHI's are great if you want to buy a super expensive iron that breaks down in as soon as 1 hour.
my family went thru 5 CHIs in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a

few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get

it fixed.

Chi is being recalled now due to fire hazards. see:

Yes, CHI sucks!
i had a Chi and it lasted for about 5 years and then it broke...i recently got the FHI and i love it. i also have thick curly frizzy hair bt everyone thinks that i have naturally straight and smooth hair. it uses ceramic heating element along with the ceramic plates and it doesnt do a whole lot of damage to your hair.
sedu
Definitely Sedu. CHI will break in a few months. GHD is a copycat of CHI, only more expensive.
