Which hair straighteners are good? I know ceramic ones are good but there are solid ceramic ones and nano ceramic ones. What's the difference? Also, is there any importance in the length and width of the straightener plates?

Also, what's the difference between the ceramic ones that they sell at hair salons and the ceramic ones in stores?Which hair straighteners are good?

Ceramic ones at stores are really cheap, trust me instead of them you are much better of spending 200 bucks on a salon one, LOL. i used to keep buying new ones from the store because they just die out really fast- take super long to straighten your hair %26amp; i just got fed up off it and bought the ';FDI'; from the salon. it makes my hair like PIN STRAIGHT in 2 strokes, whereas the old one never worked that well in 15 STROKES! =P
if your hair is fairly straight then you probably don't need to buy an expensive one. just get any ceramic hair straightener that you want. the size doesn't matter.



but if you have really curly hair then you might want to go and get an expensive salon one. the paul mitchell straightener is great. but it makes my hair almost too straight, it gets all flat. it's much better suited for someone who has curly hair rather than straight.

the ghd hair straightners seem to be the best at the moment they are ceramic. i got a pair for my birthday in march (but my 16 year old daughter uses them mostly!!) and they are very hot. i have quite fine straight hair and they seem to have a static effect on my hair when i have been using them for a while. they are very expensive too around 拢120. maybe see what are best for you hair type.
