Which hair straighteners please?

I REALLY don't want to spend very much on a pair as I am pretty broke, but I would like a nice pair that are good. They need to be light and smooth to use. Anyone got any nice ones that do the job, and how much were they? (if you don't mind my asking)Which hair straighteners please?
I have a Sedu and it was around $135.00 but it was a really good investment for my hair. It really makes my hair feel so smooth ....But this site I am going to send you has just about every brand on there and you can read the user reviews and I am sure there is one there to fit your budget, also they have free shipping and a 30 day return policy if you do not like the product. I would stay away from the CHI ...it seems to have alot of bad reviews ...that is one of the reasons I did not get it and it doesn't have a temperature setting ..which I think is bad. Anyway, here is the site, I know you will get alot of information from it .....

Hope this is helpful ~~~

Also, you need to get a good heat protector to put on your hair before you flat iron it so that the iron doesn't burn it ....Which hair straighteners please?
heres the thing cheap straighteners don't get as hot which means you have to run it over and over and over your hair and it takes longer because to straighten and is worse for your hair. The chi is the best brand of straightener and they get super hot which means you run it over your hair less and it wont get damaged like the cheap straighteners. Chi straighteners and other pricier straighteners are made or ceramic ad the ones with tourmaline in them are the best which protects it making it less likely to damage your hair and strip it of natural shine. Plus the way will longer its a well worth it splurge
I think that sedu are pretty good... they are like about 100 dollars but they last for like ever and they dont burn ur hair.

amika, Ghd, and Chi are of the same price and quality as sedu.

or conair, but it doesn't last that long, doesn't work that great, and it burns ur hair. - they are 20-30 a piece, and if you keep buying them, its just not worth it, you may as well have one you really like.

bed head also makes good straighteners, never tried one tho, and I think you can get them, depening on which one, for 30-50 dollars, I saw one at walmart

wet2straight works well, but it burns your hair.

by using one of the straighteners that burn ur hair, your hair will become thin and look just plain wierd and nasty, unless you get tourmaline heating technology with solid ceramic plates
FHI's are reallllly good, pretty much like GHD's. i had a pair of FHI's for years, i recently got a pair of GHD's off my boyfriends mum and they are good but pretty much the same as my old FHI's. my sister now has my FHI's and she loves them and they are still in realllly good condition. they are light and smooth on your hair as they have ceramic plates. i think i paid 拢40 for mine in the sale..i'll try to find you a pair now and post you the link =) trust me they are so good.

i had the top pink ones =) hope i helped
GHDs are worth the investment, have had mine 3 years now and still as good as day I got they. Had other cheaper brands before ghds one babyliss one morphy richards, the plates get worn and start pulling out hair!! I you go for cheaper ones make sure plates are solid ceramic will last a lot longer.
Oh! I just got a few days ago the conair 2 inch infiniti. I read great reviews for it on makeup alley. I never straightened my hair before, it's very thick and curly. It was only 50 dollars (I think drugstore.com has it for 35!), and it doesnt snag my hair, and it only took my two fast swipes to get it PIN straight. I was amazed. it goes up to 395 degrees, and has different settings so you can make it cooler. It didn't damage my hair, and I LOVE it. I can't afford the best ones either but this is great too! And it comes with a heat resistant pouch also.
I got a great professional straightner on ebay. Brand new, mine was around $40. Chi or babyliss are great. Just make sure it's ceramic.
corioliss are just as good as ghds but are lighter. cost about 拢95. plus they come in really funky designs http://www.hqhair.com/code/products.asp?/a>
I actually bought some really great one's from (TESCO'S) but it doesn't seem like it cause there really great! My brother's girlfriend is a professional stylist and she says that she can't believe i got them from tesco's there like GHD's.

拢8.00 - Tesco's.

The best straightner I have ever used is the conair wet 2 straight. I think it was maybe only around 25 bucks alittle less it you get the smaller plate.
wil dont get chi cuz its not real ceramic

theres this one that i use it ginalli and it costs about 160but its pretty good it dosnt damage ur hair as much
Buy some ceramics irons they come in all sizes and are very good when it comes down to straightening hair
Chi's are the best but they are pretty expensive mine was a little over $100.
I got one from Hot Tools for 25 bucks on sale. It's pretty good.
