Which hair straighteners would you recommend that are great and inexpensive?

I have heard of BaByliss Beliss straighten as you dry hairdryer but are they good as well?Which hair straighteners would you recommend that are great and inexpensive?
honestly cheap is not cheerful as a few others have said because they simply do not heat up enough you may as well get the expensive version and it will last longer as well think about it in the long haul you'll probably end up paying more.

GO FOR THE GHD'sWhich hair straighteners would you recommend that are great and inexpensive?
I have to agree with Fiona. Just invest in a good one. The cheapie flat irons don't get hot enough and then you have to run them thru your hair over and over and over again which damages your hair a lot more then running a hot flat iron through it once. The GHD is a great flat iron, it's expensive, but in my opinion works better than anything I've ever tried.. even my KINU flat iron that I had imported from Japan. (this was like 5 years ago mind you). CHI is also a good flat iron, expensive but good!

BaByliss flat irons are awful. My neighbor has one and I would rather wear my hair curly than ever try to use that thing. First of all it doesn't get hot enough, it's all bulky and awkward and it catches hair. Alot of times you can buy used GHD and CHI flat irons on eBay, so they're a little cheaper. Oh and the wet to dry flat irons are the worst! I tried using one and it got my hair dried and straight but it was frizzy. It takes longer to blowdry and then flat iron but the results are MUCH better!

Just please invest in a good one...it's well worth it!
Seriously? Invest in GHD's because in my opinion nothing is as good as they are yet.

It also really depends on what your hair is like. My hair is thick and normally wavy so using GHD's means it stays straight for a long time.

If you have thin hair then any good name hair straighteners would be OK.

I wouldn't recommend hair dryer things, they're a bit of a false economy.

Hope you find ones that suit you!
Well you've heard the saying, you get what you pay for!! I understand you may be on a low budget but GHD's are the best and even though their expensive they are worth the money, wht don't you save up and get a good quality product instead of settling for second best...Good luck..
Yes it's good, also GHD, SHE, CHI, among other cheap ones that are good. Dont forget to put a protector of heat and tips sealer. Also do weekly deep conditioning treatments. Cheers.
I like revlons.

my sister has one.

and i really like it...

i gave it to her after i bought my chi.

you do have to wait until your hair is dry though.
Buy a conair straightener. They're about 30 bucks but they go on sales all the time. They're cheap and they work really well.
Babyliss do brilliant straightners! My friends Dad is a hairdresser and he recommends them even though they are only cheap.

x
the straighten as you dry ones do work but you should only use them if you have up to medium length hair, if yours is long or very thick then it won't work as well...
I have some Babyliss ones there good, maby not quite as good as GHD'S but a lot cheaper :]
well solia straighteners are prettygood and they cost about $80
U cant be stingey when it comes to straighteners....Invest in a pair of GHD's u'll never look back, they are the king of straighteners beleive me!
ghd's are soso amazing

i would die without them
