How do you know which Hair Straighteners are good??

Because my mom bought one and it isn't very good,while my aunt bought another one and is really good.The one my mom bought was like 20 dollars and the one my aunt bought was 60 dollars..so does that means that if it is more expensive is better?How do you know which Hair Straighteners are good??
Not always true! I bought a $25 Conair from Wal-Mart and it works perfectly. It mostly depends on what brand you get. For instance, Conair is a really good brand that I have stuck with ever since I started straightening my hair. Ive always had good luck with them, course, some of my friends have bought them and hated them. I guess it could also depend on what straightener will work best for your hair type.How do you know which Hair Straighteners are good??
I have always flat ironed my hair and tried a few different ones but I finally gave in and bought a CHI and it really is worth it. It is amazing and I can't believe how healthy my hair is for how much I straighten it. Also I would recommend getting the CHI Silk straightening stuff. You put it in when your hair is wet, blow dry it, straighten it and you can put it in again, you don't need a lot!

it depends on the companie that makes it and if it is gold plated or ceramic but you would want a straightner that is going to last you i would suggest a Paul Mitchel straightner they are about 200 to ibelieve its 500 dollars?... i know it sounds like a lot but it WILL pay off because they do last long and just the quality is amazing it will straighten your hair very quickly and it will give your hair a natural and healthy shine.
Go to a professional beauty supply store, you can usually get some off brand flat irons that are just as good as a Chi for half the price.





Do some reasearch on the internet, look it up on ebay too.
