Please help me to decide which hair straighteners are good?

So, I'm searching for the perfect hair straightener.


I'm making this purchase from target so go to their site, check out some of their hair straighteners, and tell me which ones you'd recommend. also, which ones do you use? and is it a good straightener? ps. i want the price to be lower than $30.

Well, i use a Conair one and it's fabulous! I was looking on target and there are many options. I strongly suggest getting one with a cross handle ( like scissors). And a wider iron works best. Hope you have a wonderful dayPlease help me to decide which hair straighteners are good?
there are some really great straighteners out there for cheap but there are also crappy one too. Some conair products are good but i like revlon and Bedhead. Bedhead is my deffinate favorite but i am not sure on price though. dont go for the cool looking ones and i like the ones that the plates are 1 1/2 inch or 1 inche wide somehow i think they work better!
My first question for you would be is what type of hair do you have generally hair straightners are used on ethnic hair which has a courser texture to it. For someone who has finer hair you could have severe reprecussions if you do not use it correctly and leave it on too long many hairstylists even refuse to use them on certain hair types and also depending on the condition of the hair as well. Not only can you end up with severe hair breakage or very dry hair to say the least. Incorrect use of a straightner can lead to scalp burns as well.

i have this one. i actually bought it at wal mart but its the same one and works great. what I really like is that it gets hot in no time and it has a green light to let you know when its ready. also it doesnt get too over heated so its pretty easy to handle. it doesnt matter if you're in a hurry or taking your time, it will straighten your hair in no time and do a pretty fine job. my hair often comes out looking finer and very soft.
ok i was just recently looking for a new straightener and i had advice from a friend she said to buy a ceramic straightener because it doesn't damage your hair if you want a good one i would get a conair that heats up in 30 seconds thats the one i have hope i helped!!! : ]
dont get conair my friend had it and it sucked...i have chi its my favorite but its expensive...but so worth it...if you really want a good one u should just invest in one really good one (chi)..itll be better than paying 30 bucks for a crappy one that doesnt get the job done..
