Which hair straightener is better?

I need to get a new hair straightener so I was wondering which brand is better: the Chi or the Sedu. I've heard good things about both, and don't know which one is better. Also, is one healthier to use on hair than the other?Which hair straightener is better?

Chi is THE WORST hair straightener. It gives off great results, but it breaks down really fast and wears out. Sedu is also one of the best hair straighteners out there. GHD is also an excellent one. The best, by my opinion. Hope I've helped

chi.....ive never heard of sedu but the best is the GHD it is the best straightener ive owned. the only problem is your going to have to have someone with a beauty lisence get it for you or else ull spend around 300 for it( i got it for 150)
the chi is definitely better, but not the best.


if money isn't an option then i would go for the GHD


i bought it 3 yrs ago and it still works like its brand new

all straighteners will damage your hair, but the CHI won't damge it due to cheap plates or anything a bad cheap straightener will do.

Chi is good, but I'd recommend a the Paul Mitchell Express Ion Shine 1.0. It has silicon strips which produce shine. It's amazing.
Chi!!!!!!!!! And there is no ';healthy'; straightener but really the more expensive the better because the cheap ones don't heat evenly. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!

I like the Chi, but I went through at least one a year. I like the Paul Mitchell better than the Chi. I finally broke my Paul Mitchell after I threw it across the room =[ So I got another =]
