Which hair straighteners should I buy?

I have long, wavy, thick hair. Usually it takes me ages to get it straight, and then it doesn't even stay straight during the day. Does anyone know of any really good straighteners that will keep my hair straight and last long themselves aswell?Which hair straighteners should I buy?
the expensive ones that cost 500, 590 $ because they are the best i know because i have the same heir as you!Which hair straighteners should I buy?
I have a MaxiGlide by Maxius. It's from an infomercial and I really like it, i have med-long wavy thick hair too. This one has a steam option which is nice, but it's very large. My cousin is a hairstylist and she strongly recommends Chi ceramic ones if you can afford them. They are awesome...I just couldn't afford it:)
oh course a chi would do the job,

but they are pretty dang expensive!

i use the brand bed head its about $50 and only takes 10-15 minutes
GHD,s
hi first off let me say unless you know what your doing you could be damaging your hair beyond repair by putting in chemicals that 1 aren't working and 2 that you don't know how and what they are doing to your hair because you aren't a professional. Go to a salon get your hair evaluated by a professional. most likely just getting a consultation will be free then they will be able to tell you which product will work on your hair type. then make an appt and let a professional do the job because perms can be really damaging even though you may not see the damage yet. hope this helps good luck to ya.
Use some Paul Mitchell super skinny serum before you straighten it.
I use GHDs and they are definately the best ! I used to have these other ones and they were no way near as good.
ice wax its natural and it even makes the very short hair stand up !!! and it has a nice smell i dont know if you have that there!!
